March Madness

March has come. One of my goals is to blog more. So lucky you I guess? I need to get my feelings out and communicate. Ok, not many people interact with me here but at least I feel like I am being fun and crazy!

I have a busy month ahead of me. Ok, not really busy I guess since H is done all sport stuff until April, but some fun stuff to look forward too.

First H and I are heading to Arizona to see my parents for 6 days during spring break. Last time I went to Arizona H was a mere 4 months old. We headed down South for much needed spring break sun and when we got to Sedona it looked like this.
Yeah it snowed! Serious snow? This time there is no snow in the forecast thankfully. It is supposed to be sunny and warm!  We are not going to Sedona this time but living it up in an old folks trailer park at my parents in Mesa. It will be nice to see them. They love being snowbirds but it sucks they are gone 5 months of the year. I can't wait until I am old. I am moving to Hawaii though or somewhere tropical. I am already looking for real-estate. 2032, you can't come soon enough.

So I spoke about blogging more as a goal. I also am going to resume working out. Minimum 3-4x per week. I am very out of shape right now relative to how good of shape I have been in the past. However, yesterday I came to the realization I need to let go of what was and work on what is now. I may never been in that great shape again or maybe I will be even in better shape? I was throwing myself quite the pity party for one. Feeling bad I was going out for a FUN 10 mile run on a rainy Saturday or whizzing through a Jillian's Making the Cut barely breaking a sweat. By thinking this way I was just setting myself up for disaster.

Another goal is to eat salads for lunch at work at least 3x.

Last week I batched good some pasta thing for my lunch but then I hated it and tossed it all. Instead of going to the store to figure out a new plan I went all nilly willy for the week. Nilly willy is never good. Especially when you are not feeling great already.

Ok, gots to go. My boys are home from the Whitecaps game and I am going to go eat homemade lettuce wraps with them.

YAY more blogging from Jen! My daughter's best friend is moving to Hawaii with her family. It kind of sucks that next year is her senior year, but it's also hard to feel sorry for her. lol! I'm picking the strength training back up after a week and a half of loosey goosey workouts. That's close to your willy nilly ones right?
